Group events PUA Group events
The research group organises numerous events throughout the year not only to celebrate research successes, but also to grow together as a group and achieve common goals.
We celebrate our scientific successes and invest in a strong team through group events and group camps. Our most recent team event was a hike through the Palatinate Forest on an incredibly hot day near Neustadt (Pfalz). Bowling and ice skating at the Christmas market is a must for the team in winter. In 2019, we have just been to Bussang (France), funded by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, for a retreat on team theories and management including some new scientific findings. In 2018, we went on an excursion to the Eberstadt cave. In 2016, we visited the Bad Urach waterfalls. In 2015, we spent a few days on scientific writing, sponsored by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, and stayed at the KLJB Bildungshaus Fiegenstall. The year before, we went canoeing and bowling on the Elsenz and sometimes we just celebrate notable events like the 40th anniversary of Environmental Physics.
